On a whim, I decided to learn the harp. Even though, I had never had ANY music lessons and was well over 50 years old, Phyllis willingly took me on as a student. She is an excellent teacher with her patient demeanor. I have learned so much more than I imagined I could. Phyllis knows just when to demand more and when to explain more. She is such an accomplished musician and to think I am learning from one of the best! Very pleasant to be around. I look forward to our weekly lessons.Oct 20, 2012Verified

- What types of customers have you worked with?Private lessons are offered on a weekly basis. Most students prefer hour lessons to have plenty of time for relaxed study and playing time. Forty five minute lessons are now being offered for the younger student.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?If you have no musical background, consider renting an instrument first. A piano background and/or the ability to read music is very helpful but not required. Younger students will benefit greatly from two years of piano study before beginning on harp. If you are an adult and learning the harp is on your bucket list - now is the time!
