Introduction: Josh is a conservatory-trained musician from the Hartt School of music in Hartford, CT, where he majored in jazz guitar. He has taught music, audio recording, guitar ensemble, and general education to kindergartners through eighth graders at St. Peters School in Philadelphia and at the Forum School in Northern New Jersey. He has extensive experience in teaching early childhood music to children ages 1-5 years and students all ages privately and in music studios (Woodside Music in Park Ridge, NJ, and Martoccio's Music in Avon, CT). In addition to education, Josh is an accomplished songwriter, vocalist, recording artist, producer, and performer. He has toured nationally for the past 10 years and currently writes/performs professionally. Josh is currently offering lessons in the following areas: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, vocals, music theory, and songwriting. His belief is making lessons fun and informal and to cater to the learning styles/needs of his students.
