Thank you!

The services offered are following:

I primarily offer overnight pet sitting in your home. This gives you and I peace of mind that all aspects of your home and pets are well cared for.

Overnight visits include taking care of your pets, such as fresh food and water, walks, normal routines, and lots of attention. I am able to administer oral medications as well. In addition to the pet sitting services, I will gladly provide care and attention to your home, such as bringing in the newspaper, trash duties, watering plants, getting the mail, adjusting lights, etc.

There may be times when overnight visits are no possible, all services will still be offered.

As always, my services are tailored to meet your needs and the needs of your pets. I am able to accommodate most requests without charging more, unlike other sitters. If you have something special in mind that you are looking for, don't hesitate to ask.

If you are interested in my services, please contact me for a free consultation. The purpose of the consultation is for me to meet your pets and yourself, to get a tour of your home, and to understand your routines.

Concierge services can be provided upon request.

I offer transportation to the vet or groomer, trips to and from the store to pick up pet/household supplies, dry cleaning pick-up/drop-off, etc. I can provide these services for you, so that everything will be done when you get back from your vacation. I offer a flat trip fee of $15 round trip anywhere (within 10 miles of your home). If more than 1 stop is ran on the same trip, just add $5.00 per stop.

My rates are very simple. The prices below include all pet sitting and house sitting services, and yes, these prices are overnight rates.

- $18 per dog per day
- $8 per cat per day
- $8 each for other pets, such as birds, ferrets, reptiles, etc.

There is no charge for fish.

There is a min charge of $30 per day.

I doubt if you can find a more affordable price for all-inclusive care for your home and pets. Peace of mind is priceless!

Payment is due in full on the first day. First-time clients must pay with cash; repeat clients can pay via check. If you would like to pay via credit card, this can be arranged through PayPal.

If you are not interested in overnight pet/house sitting, please contact me with your request.

If you are outside of Davidson County, please contact me for more information.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Most commonly I am called upon when people are going out of town on vacation. They do not like boarding their pets, they don't like leaving their home unattended, and they don't like asking their neighbors or friends to take care of it all until they return. I handle your normal routine (house and pets) until you return. It's that simple!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. First, check references! Essentially you are giving someone keys to your home. You would not just hand them over to a stranger - so check references!

Second, look at the cost. For instance if you are gone for 7 days (6 nights), and you have 2 dogs, is $252 worth peice of mind? I believe that it is a small price to pay for all inclusive care to your home and pets...

Third, look at their experience. I have been sitting for some of my clients for nearly 7 years. I am booked approximately 50% of the time. I have years of experience with many animals, many different personalities, and experience handling many household emergencies. Trust me, things happen. Wouldn't it be good to know you've hired someone that can handle a water heater bursting? or a gas leak? I have seen it all over the years!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Doggy doors are a blessing!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I truly love what I do! It is a career for me and I take it seriously.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. My love for animals - I have always had animals, Mom used to laugh and say, "If it followed me home, I'd keep it!"

I also enjoy helping people. Knowing people can call on me, trust me and know they don't have to worry about a thing means a lot.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Since I have always had animals, my friends and co-workers would ask me to watch their animals when they would leave town. Slowly in turned into more and more, through word of mouth, I have a great clientele and are booked about 50% of the year.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. It's more to it than feeding and walking. It's about always being alert, responsible and mindful of other people's needs. You are taking care of someone else's pets and home. It is not to be taken lightly.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. Being responsible and reliable. Giving your clients peace of mind.
