Introduction: Hello! My name is Sara Renee, and I am a Nashville, TN and international destination-based wedding photographer. Raised an adventurer, I have lived and traveled all over the world. I ride trains, horses, and boats, fly in planes and use my legs to get wherever it may be that I'm going. Movement and growth are a constant in my life. You can call me SR (prounounced es-are). Starting my own freelance photography business when I was eighteen, I continued on to the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography to get a formal education in photography, building upon four years of photography/business experience. Since we’re talking about education, you should know that I also have my BA in English Literature and am an avid reader. In fact, I practically chew books up with my eyes and am enamoured with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes and Mark Twain’s Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn characters (oh! and not to forget Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables! They’re the best!). As far as photography style goes, I like what is real. I like shooting wide open. I like big catchlights. I like dimples and freckles. I like to rock and roll, and my clients seem to always turn into my close friends. My approach is lifestyle-meets-rockstar-meets fashion/editorial and more. It’s hard to know where I will turn up, but Tennessee is a place I will always call home, and I am currently based out of the Nashville, TN area (with strong ties to Chattanooga, TN), but travel all over the world for weddings and photoshoots.
