I have helped my students prepare and be accepted to Berklee, MTSU, Belmont and other institutions. I have mentored songwriters and guitarists on their own recording and performing projects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved music. As a kid, I spent a lot of time at my high school neighbor's house listening to his massive record collection while his band practiced downstairs. When I was 13, I was at a Super Bowl Party with a lot of adults. The host had a guitar on a stand and saw mw eyeing it. I held that acoustic guitar close to my chest and he showed my "Sunshine Of Your Love", by Cream. I knew right then, immediately, what I wanted to do. I didn't watch a minute of the game.
