Melanie is a true professional. She has been teaching my twins the piano for over a year now and not only have they continued to grow their capabilities but they have also grown in their enjoyment of music and the instrument. Hard to ask for more! Melanie is extremely patient and nurtures the desires and interests of each child while channeling their unique enthusiasm in a systematic way to help them grow. She meets each child at the level they are at and helps them to build from there. I highly recommend Melanie as a piano teacher.

Melanie has been great! I played piano as a little kid and didn’t remember much at all. Melanie started at the beginning and was very patient and encouraging. She never makes me feel bad if I didn’t get a chance to practice during the week, and always offers words of encouragement! She’s great, highly recommend!

Both my daughters have been working with Melanie for about a year and the experience has been great. My 7 year old started from the very beginning with Melanie. She didn't know how to play or even hold the violin and now she can read music and plays several melodies. My 11 year old has worked on the Suzuki method and Melanie was key in helping her with various auditions. She is a rising 6th grader who auditioned for her school's orchestra and with Melanie's help she got placed on 8th grade Orchestra. Both girls feel very comfortable with Melanie and I think her teaching style, method and aids are great for anyone who is learning an instrument.
