Introduction: A Vocal Performance graduate of Belmont University, I am a Producer, Vocal Coach, SESAC songwriter, performing artist and music publisher. My clients have been featured on The Voice, The Grand Ole Opry, the CMA Awards, Billboard charts, and countless national tours. I work with published and beginner songwriters and recording artists to prepare them for touring, vocals in the studio or preproduction of their albums. I also work with children who are preparing for vocal competitions, musicals and commercials as well as beginner adults who want to become more confident in their vocal/songwriting/public speaking abilities. I have been coaching Nashville's most talented artists for over 15 years. I own Lookit Music, a SESAC publishing company, Lookit This Music (BMI) and am a proud member of SAI (Sigma Alpha Iota) and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). I do not just teach voice lessons. I create a complete plan for each artist (at any level) to navigate their way through the music industry. We focus on all aspects of the music business as well as their performances. I also record each artist in my studio. They get intense practice so they can be extremely valuable as a vocalist when they go to record their projects professionally. Skype and FaceTime sessions available! I love to see my students and artists achieve their goals. Whenever an artist gets a record deal, gets national press due to a successful tour, hears their song on the radio the first time, places in a vocal competition or writes their first song, I am ecstatic! I get so much gratification from their success. I help my clients get performance opportunities too! Whether it's singing background vocals at an awards show, on an album, or singing originals at a writers round, it's one of my favorite things to do to help people get networked and connected with other clients and contacts. The kids I've worked with have recorded on children's albums, been on TV, landed lead roles and won many many vocal competitions. They also learn to song write if they are interested!
