Mack Hodgson

Introduction: I am a singing, songwriting and storytelling veterinarian from the Smokey Mountains in East Tennessee-Western North Carolina. I tell stories with my guitar from personal experiences and other hillbillies' experiences. I also sing a song or two. I mix my stuff with a sound of John Prine, Johnny Cash (and yes, I did have the pleasure of meeting Johnny), Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffet and others who I have admired through the years. I call my stuff Appalachian Americana. I perform on stage and at private settings.
