- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My goal for pricing is to allow my clients to save as much money as possible without belittling my own worth as a professional. For personal training, I believe that my in person hourly rate ($75/hour when referred by Thumbtack) is more than generous on my part due to the amount of research I have done and experience that I have. Health and Wellness Coaching ($150/month when referred by Thumbtack) saves you money whether you are hiring a so-so or highly skilled personal trainer at 1 day a week, and you can schedule as many consultation sessions as you want (as my schedule allows). Regarding hypnosis, my rate is $75 a session when referred by Thumbtack. A session could last from 30 minutes to over an hour on a case by case basis. General Hypnosis Recordings can be purchased separately at $25 each, and Personalized Recordings at $45 each. Discounts are available per my "About Me" page.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? There is some paperwork involved, and frankly, if you are not willing to be open and honest with me, I will not work with you. I need to protect myself and you should have that same mindset as well. Any and all questions are welcome, any concern should be given a voice, and you should be interviewing me as much as I will be interviewing you. The clients who treat the professional to client relationship with respect are the ones who generally have the most success in achieving their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In addition to a Bachelor's in Exercise Science (double major with Philosophy), I am a Certified Personal Trainer by both the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise. I am also a Certified Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists. I also worked at a Mental Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician to practice what I preach and to help as many people as I could, as my stress level allowed.
