We are still using Brad Thomas for various projects at the house we recently purchased. He has already begun reconstruction of a separate outbuilding which requires warmer weather for the concrete base and completion. He has completed creating and welding a perimeter steel railing around a large deck area, also reinforcing and repairing parts of the wooden deck that needed it. He has repaired and relined a fish pond in our entry area, correcting a slow leak that was entering a downstairs room. He is now installing new flooring in our guesthouse, having removed the old, buckled up linoleum. The job included adding new subflooring, installing a baseboard heater, reworking various electrical and plumbing and adding basebord around the various rooms. He is adept at carpentry and drywall. Weve found his work to be high standard - and done the way we ask it to be done. When he is not sure about how to proceed in any particular area he discusses it ahead of time with us. He does his best to stick to budget and estimate and is willing to work with whatever ideas we come up with. We will continue using Brad in the future.

No complicated pricing, flat rate,by the hour, square foot, or Linear foot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet the customer at there location, Go over the project details, want and needs. Provide a written estimate. Give the Customer to discuss and decide there options. Follow up to see if there interested in hiring me to complete there project. Provide estimated time of completion. Provide a written contract. Schedule a time to start the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read on-line to find out the best products and practices to get the job done right. I buy books for code for our region. Also books on how to do certain types of projects.
