Tile Installation and Replacement
NPS was very professional and arrived prepared to handle business. They performed my estimate and I was able to provide my own choice of tile and grout.They ensured to make the job as stress free as possible. Communication was clear and concise and aside from a prior scheduled appointment they were timely. They installed my kitchen backsplash beautifully and worked diligently to clean up behind themselves. NPS also installed my chandelier in my entry way. Steven went above and beyond his call to make our project come together. We had our back deck pressure washed and repainted. Steven noted several rotten boards not to mention one of the steps. I appreciated the honesty instead of just doing the job to be done, he wanted to be sure it was done right! He and the guys assembled a large outdoor gazebo canopy for our deck and arranged our new outdoor furniture. We had a fountain put in the back deck and Steven had idea to install a switch instead of running extension cords and I’m so glad we upgraded and did the switch. It is hard these days to find honest hard working people but that is exactly what Steven represents! I left a message for him to call back but he never did, so we had to call him again the following day. He finally got back to us around 4PM and said he would be here as soon as he picked up a dimmer switch for us. He got to our house 2 hours later and charged us $22 for the switch, which should’ve only been $10-12. He fixed the fixture in our kitchen, changed the light bulbs in my closet and installed the dimmer for a total of $226. I’m not sure what the going rate is for electricians, and I may be wrong, but I found that to be a little pricey. You decide. First of all let me start off by saying I’m sorry I did not see your message. I did receive a message from your mother. I review all my messages after work. I seen the message at 4 o’clock and went to Home Depot picked up the materials and came immediately and treated this as an emergency call. w no extra charge. (. Just because the light was hanging from your ceiling. And I did not want to leave it like that for hazard reasons as I told your mother. There were no wire nuts even on the wires.leaving them exposed for potentially setting ur house on fire,) is I replaced a regular switch for a dimmer switch. Dimmer switches range from $12-$50. In which the cheapest dimmer switch in Lowe’s is$15.I was never given a price for the dimmer switch so I got one with a push button and dimmer Before tax. I also purchased a receptacle plate for the dimmer.New screws for the light because the old ones were too small and not the right screws. This was the reason the light fell from the ceiling. Wire nuts, also I purchased a 100 W lightbulbs and 75 W lightbulbs so they could choose exactly what type of lighting they would like in the closet. I only charge for the hundred watt lightbulbs. I go and pick up materials and deliver materials for free and only charge the price on the receipt. I do this all is part of my ministry for every customer. I’m sorry that yo feel my pricing was a little pricey. $226 to install a dimmer switch rewire a light fixture and then reinstall it into replace lightbulbs. Including materials. I can absolutely tell you is a fair price. I do everything I Do everything I can to get within my customers budget. Your mother which was who was dealing with the whole time seem very happy with everything that I’ve done including pricing. I also had a light at Electrician with me at the time. For warranty purposes and to make sure everything went correctly. Thank you and have a blessed day. You can also go and check what is the average years to replace a light switch with a dimmer switch. $80-$200 to re-install a light fixture. $80-222 And to change lightbulbs. $10-25 As per the average is my price were lower than them. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once I'm contacted about a job,I will make a time and day that I can come look at the job and start work. Me and the customer will fill out a job proposal and sign before starting job. Most jobs I will start immediately as soon as I get to the job. If I know what job consist of, I will bring materials (with a receipt) with me to job. After I'm finished we will sign a satisfactory release. Then I will receive payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm a professional contractor. I worked for one of the largest incorporations in Atlanta Ga. In which I learned from Hands on training.C I was a supervisor and project manager for building motels. Laying out blue prints building from the print. I have picked up many trades over the years. Construction is something that you have to be hands on to learns.You are from all your mess ups and fix it over the years. In which I have 31 years in the business. My wife is an interior designer and has owned her own cleaning company. In which she pays very close attention to detail.she also has professional organizational skills.
