I hired Talyn of Pristine K9 Training. Personally she is delightful and easy to talk to about my dog’s needs. More importantly, she did an amazing job with my dog (5 pound Opie) that now he comes, sits, lays down, leaves things alone that he shouldn’t get, and walks much better on a leash. I have hired her for another set of training sessions for Opie.

I am very pleased with my experience with Pristine K9. I was nervous to leave our Nala, but was instantly comfortable as soon as I met Talyn. Nala loves her and jumped right into her car and laid down. I had daily updates and pictures, which helped tremendously. I can tell a difference in Nala now and I’m working with her daily to keep up the training. I highly recommend Pristine K9.

I did a board and train with them for one and one-half weeks. I was very happy with the results with our 5 year old German Shepherd. He had noise, barking and food aggression issues. I especially liked that they used, and we continue to use, an e-collar, as it has made such a difference in his responses.

The quality of training our dog is receiving is wonderful. Talyn teaches in a way that connects with our dog. We are training our dog to be my daughter’s service dog. I am amazed what they have both learned!

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  Pricing depends on the type of service needed. Prices range from 15$ to 1600$, depending on the type and level of training you'd like your pup to receive. Discounts for Military and New Pet Parents. Payment plans are also available! ** We are always running specials and discounts as we love to serve our communities! Check our webpage or our facebook page to see if we have any you can use right now! **

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  All of our families begin with a free consultation via telephone, remotely via Facetime, Zoom, Facebook video, ect, or in-home, the choice is all theirs! After our consultation, our families work with the trainer to identify the the exact behaviors they need help with, and then choose a package to fit their unique family, budget, and pup needs! Every Pristine Training pup will be trained according to a custom made curriculum designed by our Master Trainer based on the information gathered at their consultation. This allows each pup to be trained precisely to meet his or her needs, as well as the needs of his/her family!

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  All of our trainers complete an 8 week period of training one-on-one with our Master Trainer which includes learning breed specific characteristics, training techniques for all levels, 3 weeks of in-home observation with our Master Trainer, customer relations training, how to handle aggression and / or dangerous situations, and more. Upon completion of this rigorous training, our staff then complete a 30 day observation period at which time our directors and owner will choose random sessions to attend with them in order to observe them in action. We believe in keeping our staff well taken care of through highly competitive pay, frequent professional development, and constant support from our owner and directors.
