FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with a simple, straightforward pricing model. All of my packages include full printing and sharing rights, the high definition digital images, and professional retouching! There are no hidden fees, no sitting fee, and no travel fees. There are no advance payments - you pay me the day of the photoshoot, after we've concluded the session. The digital images are always included, and if you would like any physical products - prints, albums, canvas - those are available to purchase separately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first, and most important step, is for me to listen to your needs and design the photoshoot around you. Once we've chosen a package, a location, and a date for your photoshoot, I will send you a detailed confirmation email with all the info you'll need, including tips on makeup and outfits. During your photoshoot, I will be prepared with lots of posing ideas. Don't worry about what to do with your face or hands, because I will walk you through the process and make sure that you look your best! Because I'm committed to listening to you, if you have any ideas or specific requests during the photoshoot, we will do them! Periodically during the photoshoot, I will stop and show you the images so that I can get your immediate feedback. If you don't like the way something looks, we'll change it up. This will ensure that you leave feeling confident and great about your photos. After the photoshoot, typical delivery time is 1 week or less. During that time, your photos are cropped, color corrected, brightened, and professionally retouched. Once your photos look absolutely perfect, I will email you a link to an online portfolio where you can preview your images. If you don't think they look amazing, tell me what's bothering you and I will edit them again - and again, until we get it just right. If you're happy with your photos, I'll send you another link where you can download the full resolution images. At this point, if you want physical prints, canvases, or an album, you can order them through me - or anywhere you want! You have full printing and sharing rights, so the sky's the limit. Enjoy your beautiful photos!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my career in television production, where I gained experience working on projects for HGTV, the Detroit Medical Center, and The Weather Channel. Now I manage my own photography business, and I use my training and experience with cinematography, lighting, and editing to create professional, high quality photographs.
