If I could leave ZERO stars I most certainly would! Let me tell you about Ashton at Barnett Services! I booked him on 9/16/24 for my move on 9/25/24 at 9am! I made sure he had all equipment, his own truck and supplies needed for the move otherwise I was going to reserve a Uhaul and their equipment. Ashton was nice via text right up until he canceled on me! We stayed in communication via until the day of service! I even referred him to my cousin BEFORE I even received his service. On 9/25/24 Ashton texted me to see exactly what I needed moved even though on the initial contact through thumbtack, I advised of what needed to be moved. 5x10 storage unit with chester, dresser, boxed up tv, dining table with chairs, a few boxes and a few totes. Nothing else, no bed, mattresses or anything. I also sent pictures as he requested. Ashton canceled later in the day on 9/25/24, the day before my move! He stated he had training for his full time job! I said okay, are you atleast able to come later today (9/25/24) he said I’ll let you know about 5pm. 5pm comes haven’t heard from him so I reach out. He says no his workers have the trailers and he doesn’t want to do it with his truck and charge me more. I said okay, I understand are you able to do it tomorrow (9/26/24) once you get out of training! He said he should be able to! I texted him the morning of 9/26/24 are we still on today? And he canceled again! I asked if he could do it 9/27/24 in the morning. No response! My cousin texted him to make sure they were still on for today (9/28/24) because he had canceled on me. Ashton said of course! 9/28/24 at 9:37am Ashton canceled on my cousin and they were scheduled to move at 10am! His excuse was his guys are all out this weekend so he has nothing to move with. Like how long have you known this Ashton??? I HIGHLY would NOT recommend to company to move a dog! I told him I would be leaving a very detailed review. As I am a factual and understanding person and obviously he did not care at all. Please save yourself the time and disappointment and do not book this company!
