I requested l a quote and based on my budget I would decide if the additional area could be done within my budget. The lady on the phone asked if I understood that is wasn't cheap. I express I have a quote I just wanted to know their price she then asked if I wanted cheap materials. Our apologies to this customer if we offended her. People do sometimes get offended when we ask for a budget but we are just trying to get them the most for their money. If they have money to spend we want to get them the highest quality materials, biggest plants, etc. possible. This customer, who had several quotes already, was most likely price shopping and doesn't understand that coming up with a quote is a very time intensive process, we can't just come up with a price over the phone without seeing the area, taking measurements, etc. We asked if she was planning to go with the lowest bid (something we often ask when someone says they're getting multiple bids) because we don't want to waste the customer's time or our own. We are not a budget service and our prices are generally among the highest. Now, if a customer isn't shopping based on price and instead is looking for the best value, we are the best company to work with.
Baldi did an awesome job with my landscape project. We built a new home and the builder did a terrible job with the front yard. We hired Baldi and redid the yard using most of our old shrubs and plants with a few new shrubs added. They were prompt, professional, and reasonably priced.Nov 29, 2017Verified
I have spent a lot of time with landscape professionals through the years but my experience working with Ricardo was one of the best I have had. Ricardo was knowledgeable, easy going, professional and did exactly what he said he was going to do - on time and a reasonable price. My project was a little different than most and Ricardo was able to understand what I was looking for and delivered exactly what I had hoped. Mr. Baldi and his crew built retaining walls in my yard. They also installed much needed drainage control. The walls are beautiful, the yard is recovering quickly thanks to the newly installed sod and , best of all, no water in the house when it rains! And to top it off, it was all completed on time. It is helpful for us to have an idea of the customer's budget so we can custom tailor a landscape solution that ticks their most important boxes while staying within their budget. We want to provide you the most we can for your money! Full-Service Lawn Care will be priced on a yearly contract basis. I would need to speak with you to understand your individual needs before pricing can be finalized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?New customers will typically deal with one of our sales reps through the entire process. While they are not necessarily subject matter experts (our estimators are) they are very adept at understanding what our customers want, what problems they are looking to solve and are the perfect people to walk you through the sales process. Once an agreement has been signed they will hand off that customer to a project manager, who will walk you through your entire project to completion, or an account manger if it's a recurring maintenance customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a member of the Texas Landscape Network, we carry certifications in our field that require annual continuing education to be done. Throughout the year we also participate in multiple training and development courses/seminars/training sessions on not only improving our services but also our business. Our staff includes Certified Landscape Designers, ASHS Certified Horticulturists, Texas Certified Landscape Professionals, Water Efficient Recognized Green Professionals, Texas Certified Water Smart Professionals, Licensed Irrigators and Licensed Pesticide Applicators.
