I enjoy having Jameson as a piano teacher. This is because he puts a lot of himself into the lessons, relating everything to personal experiences and lessons that he has learned along the way as a musician. He puts a lot of feeling into what he teaches and the way he plays. Also, he is very upbeat and motivational.
I do warn you though, that you will need to have some flexability when joining his classes since he can be a busy man.

Just for clarification, I always meet with my students at their scheduled lesson time. Even though I am busy I am flexible in working with my students and their families if conflicts arise.

Jameson Francis does a fabulous job instructing our 13 year old son! Mr. Francis is patient, & individualizes & tailors his lessons to the ability & needs of each student. He is versatile & able to teach the same concept in different ways to help his students succeed. He also motivates his students. Our son looks forward to his lessons & even practices without being told. Mr. Francis is an accomplished & gifted pianist & musician himself & yet is able to reach his students on their level & get them excited about learning. I can't say enough good things about him!

I attend church with Jameson and found out he was teaching piano. I took some lessons at a county college but didn't stick with it. Jameson had an opening that worked with my schedule. He is patient with me and will explain something whenever I ask a question. He will also attempt to reschedule if something comes up which I appreciate. He gives praise and encouragement.

My daughter take lessons from Mr. Francis and LOVES it. She is learning so much, and benefits from learning to sight read as well as play by ear. A wonderful balance of skills!
