- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Average charge is $45-60/hour (depends on drive time). Any changes will be addressed in advance depending on plan of care. I do not take insurance, but can take credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with a client in a setting in which they are comfortable. The first session is a "get to know each other" time & may be free at my discretion. If the client is comfortable with me, then we will continue an individualized course of therapy to help resolve their issues. Strictest confidentiality is paramount.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend EAP clinics to learn new techniques others may have developed as well as gaining strength in specific areas such as PTSD, behavior problems in children, integrating mixed (partners w/children from previous relationships) families, & individual counseling. Also attend regular inservices to maintain up to date in the psychology field as it relates to nursing & counseling.
