My *now* husband (!) and I had planned to get married at the courthouse before our destination wedding but work got in the way and we had to come up with a plan B within a few days. I came across Reverend Kristy and she saved us! Honestly I'm so glad our courthouse wedding didn't work out because this was so much more us! Reverend Kristy was so personable and kind and really wanted to know who we were as a couple to better help us figure out our ceremony. She customizes the ceremony to exactly how you want it - we loved that we kept it short and sweet! But still so special to us. We did it on a Saturday morning at the Ronald Kirk bridge and it was perfect. She also took some great pictures of us right after! Reverend Kristy is amazing at what she does and you can absolutely tell she loves her work! I could not recommend her enough.

Our original minister cancelled 5 days before our ceremony due to a positive covid test. We scrambled to find a replacement and are so very pleased we found Kristy! She took took time to get to know us, review our ceremony plans, and very quickly was able to add her own personal touches. She put us at ease during a very stressful time. Our wedding guests couldn’t believe that we had only known Kristy for a few days. We cannot thank her enough for helping to make our wedding day perfect. • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  3 simple steps! 1.) Meet (on phone or in person) - this gives you the opportunity to see if I fit into what you are looking for on your special day and gives me an opportunity to get to know you and learn what's important to you in your service. 2.) Review, Revise, and Review - I'll build your service based on the pieces that are important to you! We will take a look at it and see if its perfect. If so, great! If not, we revise until it's exactly as you want it. 3.) Perform the service - On your day, the last thing you need to be worried about is if the service is going to go as expected... I make sure you KNOW that (at least that part) will be exactly what you are looking for!

• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  I've had two friends ask me to officiate at their wedding and both times were such great experiences!! When I married my wonderful husband 7.5 years ago, our minister was not one of the highlights of our service... but through a somewhat negative experience coupled with the joy I experienced officiating both of my friends' weddings, I've found a desire to be a part of other's BIG DAY and to ensure that it's one thing a bride can check off the to do list and feel confident that it will be exactly as the couple desires!

• What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

  There are alot of us!! Make sure you are comfortable and feel great about your selection when it comes to your officiant.
