FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is low - very low. This is possible for a few reasons. First, I don't have to pay any sales people or installers. Superior Service and Installation is a one man operation, and I like it that way. Second, the price I pay for equipment is the same price that you pay. I buy most products at wholesale prices, and I don't mark up the cost because it's usually easy for you to search online and find similar products. How would it make me look if you found a lower price on a similar product? Third, I have very low overhead costs. The cost you pay is for equipment, and labor. Period.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact, however that comes to be, is an on-site visit. I need to meet you and see your property so that I can determine what equipment is necessary to meet your needs and to complete the project. I also need to see if there are any unusual aspects to your property that will affect the cost of my labor. After the on-site visit, I will send you a final quote. The quote will include all parts, labor, and sales tax. If you accept the quote, I will order all of the necessary equipment, and schedule a day to complete the project. I can usually schedule an installation with one week of ordering the parts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My grandpa was a handyman. I lived with him for a long time, and he showed me how to use every tool he owned. He instilled in me the conviction that I should treat every property as if it were my own. I consider this to be the basis of all of my training. I have been to many training classes related to my specific profession, but to be honest, most of them were based on programming the devices rather than running wires and drilling holes. I can't say that I've never made a mistake while on the job, but I can say that all of my mistakes have been rectified, and I've learned a lesson from each and every one of them.
