- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From the time I was very young I always loved to change and improve my surroundings. I found that I had a real gift for re-purposing existing pieces, mostly because I, for the most part, didn't have the money to go out and buy all new pieces. My friends and family admired how I could easily transform a room with a few simple changes such as a faux paint project, some lovely accent pieces as well as some simple lighting choices. The possibilities are endless when you don't limit yourself, and I never do!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There are some designers who just do the "job" and then there are those of us that truly love to create and inspire... There is nothing more rewarding than a smile of pure joy on the face of someone you've helped!
