Leading Edge Mechanical and Mr. Roland Rodriguez are the consummate professionals and Mr. Rodriguez was personally involved in this project (replacement of two (2) air conditioning units) from beginning to end. Mr. Rodriguez immediately called me and we discussed my needs for this project. He stated when he would arrive at my residence and arrived on time. Mr. Rodriguez provided me an immediate technical assessment and determined that both units required to be replaced. I was able to locate two used units in San Antonio and asked Mr. Rodriguez if he would accompany me to inspect the units and their feasibility to be replacements, to which Mr. Rodriguez agreed without any hesitation. Mr. Rodriguez accompanied me to San Antonio and he was able to determine that both units were more than ample to provide the necessary air conditioning to my home. We drove back from San Antonio and without a hitch, Mr. Rodriguez with his able assistant replaced both units. Mr. Rodriguez is an expert technical professional, in addition, he is courteous, personable, and above all, competent. He accomplished this replacement project in an extremely timely fashion (4 hours for both units) and done faultlessly! I didn't end up getting my service/ part through Roland but he was willing to work with me in terms of just purchasing a part when everyone else tried to tack on services at an extraordinarily unjustifiable cost. Roland had reasonable prices for parts and services. I would definitely consider him in the future.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well, I as a child I loved to explore things that were created to move. It started with watches and then as I got older cars. I loved to build things and take them apart and put them back together. So, when the opportunity came for me to go to college. It was either motorcycle work or HVAC. I chose HVAC. It is challenging and it allows me to do what I love. I could not image myself doing anything else.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I repair or replace air conditioning systems or heaters. Here in Austin it is mostly air conditioners I work on. I also, install new up to date duct work and ventilation.
