FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can provide an hourly rate for our service or give you a quote for a particular project. If we provide a "quote" at a specific price, the price is not adjusted if the job takes less time or materials, or more time or materials, than we assumed in our quote. We can provide an "estimate" if you'd like that can be adjusted based on the actual time and materials required to perform the job. If we perform work based on an hourly rate, we do charge drive time up to $50.00 and the onsite time is prorated to the minute based on the technician’s hourly rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have experienced, seasoned professionals that service property as their profession. We've even taken it to the top tier of professionalism and experience with licensed, "Master" level credentials. Our licenses mean we are regulated by the State of Texas, and in particular the State Board of Plumbing Examiners and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. To be licensed you have to meet certain formal training requirements, have a minimum number of on-the-job training hours and pass a State exam.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Don't let the limited number of reviews discourage you. We are new to Thumbtack but our experience is deeply rooted. The company principals have spent more than 80 years combined managing and maintaining property for investors and individual property owners. Of the thousands of service companies that we've encountered, few have been good enough to recommend to someone else. We decided to create our own best of breed service company that solves most maintenance and repair needs with one call. Our focus is on providing a service that excels so that you'll call on us again or pass our name along. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
