Yvonne Espinoza College Counseling Services

We hired Yvonne after speaking with several college counselors to assist our daughter with completing the common app (we had already selected all the schools on our own). After one session, we knew we had made the right choice! Yvonne is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. My daughter enjoyed all of her sessions with Yvonne and the meetings alleviated much of the stress around completing applications. Yvonne also managed to instill a confidence in our daughter that we could not. We were so pleased with Yvonne's services and our daughter was accepted into her first choice school (and several others). We all would highly recommend Yvonne!

At the end of our daughters Sophomore year, we hired College Counselor, Yvonne Espinoza, to assist our daughter with the college process. My husband and I couldnt be more grateful and happy to have met her. My daughter is only a Junior, and she has already experienced so many things that wouldnt have been possible without Yvonnes guidance. Yvonne has helped my daughter to explore possible majors and careers through one-on-one counseling and a career survey she gives, and my daughter has been exposed to college programs and opportunities that we didnt even know existed (even though we had 2 sons go to college before her- one at Northeastern and one at Cornell University).My daughter is more confident now in interacting with colleges and about how to navigate things on her own. She also enjoys meeting with Yvonne and trusts and follows her advice. I also regularly reach out to Yvonne with questions and she is always prompt to respond and is very helpful- I definitely feel like we are a team. I can honestly say she has a genuine interest in my daughters well-being and success, and we feel lucky that we have had her to assist our family this past year and will continue to have it through my daughters senior year at Westlake High School. I dont know what wed do without her advice and support and my only regret is that we didnt know of her when my sons went to college.Update: 2020Thanks to all the work Yvonne did guiding us, our daughter got into Barnard College, of Columbia University class of 2023. She loves it! We could not be more proud. We love you Yvonne!

As a former admissions professional and school-based college counselor of 18 years, I hold deep respect for Yvonne having witnessed her many wonderful attributes working with several of my own students.
