Brad arrived right on time the next day, after we spoke the day before on what he planned to do exactly.
Turns, out my charging port is not removable and couldn't be fixed. He moved on and checked other USB-C ports and found they could be used to charge the laptop. The previous cord I had did not allow the laptop to be charged, but I have to admit I hadn't considered even trying with the new plug.
Suffice to say, after all this, Chad happily returned my laptop and declined to charge me. He said he forgot to check, too. Lol.
Honest, knowledgeable, fair, responsive, genuine. I can't ask for more than that from a small company.
