She is an incredibly talented chef who can create a gourmet meal out of anything. We could always count on her fun sense of humor in the kitchen and her keen knowledge to make a memorable meal. I always learned something from her while I worked with her. Would definitely recommend for all your cooking needs!!!Aug 29, 2019
Jen is an awesome chef who is able to cater to literally any dietary restriction while still keeping it delicious! Her knowledge and versatility allows her to be able to cook for a massive crowd of 300, or a small group of 30, all while making each person feel like the meal was made especially for them. I highly recommend her skills.Aug 29, 2019
Jen helped us plan a meal menu for the week, cooked and prepared the foods with us. She also gave us ideas of more week menus. I would eat Jens food everyday and be satisfied forever!Nov 9, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I hate to sound vague, but it really does depend. A 2-hour class for up to 4 people would run between $90-$125 plus the cost of your ingredients, depending on what we decide to cover. Longer class sessions are available at discounted hourly rates. Larger class sizes are available up to 8 for $20 additional hourly rate per person. If you need me to do the shopping, there would be a $30 charge to shop for the class. I also provide consultations! If you have a favorite recipe that you'd like to be adapted using a dietary restriction, we can do that! Do you need help setting a meal budget? We can do that! I am here to empower you on your path to eating righteous food, in whatever form that means for you. I will work with you to make it happen.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For clients that are looking to book regular classes, I provide a free in-home consultation so we can assess your goals and cooking facilities. For a one-time cooking experience, we'll chat over the phone and through email to pin down the exact scope of the class and what your expectations are. In either case, I'm here to guide what you want to learn, so that I can best design how to help you reach your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been a professional chef for 14 years. I was trained here in Austin in 2005 at the Culinary Academy of Austin (it's since changed names). I've owned a restaurant, been a vendor at farmers markets, and have created/conducted culinary camps for children.
