FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Currently I do not accept insurance. I charge a flat rate $ 60for individuals $ 75 for couples $100 for families $100 for an intake If you research the typical cost of therapy you will find I charge way less than most therapists with a PhD. This is because I keep my office costs very low and I believe in making mental health services accessible and affordable. Payment is due in cash or credit at time of the appointment
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new clients I like to answer any questions they have, explain their rights and responsibilities and my responsibilities to them. I move at the clients pace and meet them where they are. We talk about any fears/anxieties they may have about counseling, what they have tried already. We set realistic and achievable goals and I support and guide you in that process based on your knowledge of yourself and your problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do continuing education regularly in the area of eating disorders, trauma, psychodrama. I really enjoy learning about new creative and innovative interventions to help my clients really connect with themselves.
