Dr. Parsons provided psychological and therapeutic guidance through some very challenging personal transitions in my life. When meeting, our areas of focus have included: 1) living with / moving past relationships involving alcoholism and mental illness 2) moving through an unexpected divorce 3) abusive relationships (emotional, psychological, sexual, physical, verbal) & codependency 4) self discovery, self care 5) self-esteem growth, self confidence/clarity, making positive lifestyle changes Not once have I felt uncomfortable meeting with Dr. Parsons and, quite the opposite, the environment is a space of non-judgement and openness. She guides the sessions well, depending on the topic/mood at hand, but also allows them to move organically. Her experience and professionalism are balanced with kindness and empathy. She works with me to discover patterns, answers and confidence within myself, and for that I am very grateful.

i have been a patient for 2 years and can not say enough good things. Professional, inviting, and comfortable are the first three words that come to mind. If you are considering calling or making an appointment, do it. I'm so happy I did. Such a great experience and totally helpful with every aspect of my life. Grateful to have found this practice.

Dr. Parsons is a wonderful therapist. She played a big role in helping me sort out some challenges in my life I was going through and I can't thank her enough. I especially liked the CBT techniques she shared with me because they are ideas and exercises you can practice right away to see immediate changes, rather than going through months and months of therapy and feeling like you aren't making progress. I only saw her for about 5 sessions and feel like what I have gained from these sessions will last me a lifetime. I highly recommend her.

I have been seeing Dr. Parsons for marital and parental challenges. She has been extraordinarily supportive and has gently nudged me to take communication risks that have greatly improved my marriage and overall sense of wellbeing (that is, now I'm not afraid to ask for the things I need in my relationship). I have also learned to set boundaries for myself, so that I am not constantly overwhelmed trying to care for everyone around me. In addition, she has helped me deal with sexual and emotional abuse from my teenage years. I am thankful for her help and guidance.
