- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading books and articles on grief. I also work at a grief and loss center that helps keep me up to date on developments and updates in the counseling field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My path to counseling was long. I tried many things that I enjoyed doing, but I could never quite find my place. Once I found counseling, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I have a knack for sitting with people in crisis, and I absolutely love being able to help people.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
When counseling someone through grief, my most important job is to listen without judgement.
