Introduction: Hi! Thanks for checking my profile! I’m happy to help you! I teach all ballroom styles, and can do so in English, Spanish and Romanian :) I have been teaching Latin, Rhytm and Ballroom dancing since 2001, and Bachata and Salsa since 2005. I teach group classes and private lessons primarily in Austin but can travel for special events. For people that are interested in more than social dancing, I was the undefeated Romanian National Latin Champion in the junior and under 21 divisions at the ages of 12-15 and 18-19, and later Vice Champion in the adult category. Stefan is amazing! My husband and I never dance but we actually enjoyed learning our dance because of him. He’s so kind and patient - we never felt intimidated doing our classes. Book him!

It was a great intro session! I like how Stefan knows the theory behind different types of dance and developed a curriculum to teach in a systematic way. He’s very professional and knowledgeable! Definitely booking more classes with him in the future!

Me and My fiance have been taking lessons from Stefan in preparation for the first dance at our wedding. Stefan makes you feel comfortable, and he has a natural tendency to ask questions in a attempt to get you too open up. Learning to dance can mentally be taxing, and people tend to internalize short falls and inabilities. I have found with both me and my partner, that alot of our difficulties was how we mentally pictured the moves vs actually applying them. Him attempting different methods of vocalizing what we were attempting to accomplish, has guided us in the needed direction to become our best selves on the dance floor. Where one may begin lessons with the intent of looking cool knowing how to dance, Stefan has a way of transforming your outlook into communication with others through the elegance dance.

Stefan is an AMAZING instructor. He made class so much fun. My boyfriend and I are both new to dancing. And Stefan’s cues helped us pick up the movements and understand how to move with our bodies without being too much in our heads. We also learned what it means to be a good lead/ follower. We also learned some fun facts about dancing! We would definitely recommend Stefan to all our friends.
