1st Class K-9 Dog Training

I had been trying for a year to find a home for my German Shepherd, Lando, who has dog aggression issues - with no luck. I had also tried to find a trainer for him for a reasonable price who could help him socialize - again with no luck. Finally, I reached out to K9 Mastery - very last minute because I needed to re-home Lando prior to my move. I heard back from Corey within about 24 hours, and we had a great email convo about Lando’s issues, and that’s when I realized that Corey has a very special knowledge and ability with dogs. Our subsequent phone conversation only confirmed that! He explained that Lando would need to be socialized to the rules of the family - his “pack” - and would need both time and the main people in his family to be involved. That’s when I decided to offer to pay for Lando to be trained with his adoptive family, because though I could’ve done it with him, I could see that it was more important that he knew the rules with his new family. I asked Corey to help me find a family through his connections - and wow!! He found an AMAZING couple who already had a dog, but were willing to give Lando a try. We arranged to meet to see if Lando would be a good fit, and Corey came to help out and to assess Lando. Let me just say, I was BLOWN AWAY, by Corey’s skill with Lando!! BLOWN. AWAY. It literally took him about 30 minutes to move Lando from aggressively biting at the other dog to being able to walk calmly next to her around the park, and then sit quietly and totally relaxed while she stood and looked at him about 3 feet away! He was also able to prepare Lando to go home with his new family, just an hour later, with the other dog in the car! Corey then made plans to go to the family’s house that evening and work with Lando some more. You have no idea how happy I was that Lando was in such wonderful hands! Took a massive load off my mind and heart! Up until that moment, I was facing the crushing possibility that I would have to take Lando to a rescue - and then Corey rescued him, and ME! lol! Good gracious, what a HUGE RELIEF that was! I’m so grateful to Corey for taking the time to educate me about what Lando needed, and to the family that was willing to take a chance on my sweet dog. Lando is literally about to live his best life, and I’m so happy for him! And I can honestly say this: choosing Corey to work with Lando was one of the BEST decisions - easily one of the top 10 - I’ve ever made. Thank you Corey!! 🙏🏽

Corey responded quickly and was upfront about his services! We have started sessions and I am impressed with his knowledge and services so far! He is comparable to “the Dog Whisperer” for me :) ..highly recommend

I write this with a heavy heart, it took me about two weeks to think hard if I really wanted to write this review. Corey V knows what he’s doing no doubt about it, I think he’d be a good asset if somethings were to change. From the beginning Corey was very willing to break the payments down which was greatly appreciated. My dog was boarded at his house due to my dogs circumstances, a week comes by and Gordo has to come back for some reasons I won’t mention. I took him to the vet and I got the vets results I contacted Corey that quickly, I spoke with him on the phone later that afternoon and he did inform me that he was sorry for what happened and no words can explain what went wrong and did say he’d refund some of the money back but unfortunately never did. He did come to the house again to drop off gordos stuff and said he’d add me to this website that would give me access to some tips and training stuff for Gordo. Coreys words “it’s the least he could do” for what had happened but again empty promises. I would like to say again Corey knows what he’s doing and I think if he would communicate in a timely manner and following through on all of what he commits himself to and hire BETTER STAFF!!! His company will thrive and succeed the way it should. I do want to thank Corey for making a slight difference in Gordo, and I hope Corey and the staff that were In Charge of Gordo learn from there mistakes and don’t let another dog slip through the cracks like mines did.

At this time I'm quite pleased with 1st Class K9 Dog Training and Cory V. Very professional, respectful, responsive and punctual. Cory up on meeting my puppy went wright to worke and had him work in a more positive manner is short order. I believe this company is going to be a good value for the money!

So far everything about 1st Class K-9 is amazing. In just 2 sessions I've already seen an improvement in my dogs behavior!
