I took Spanish classes with Andrea a while ago and she was very patient and had a lot of exercises and resources for me to use when I wasn't in class. I knew a decnet amount of Spanish before, but the rate I was learning with her help was way faster

Emilio is a fantastic Spanish tutor. I had been learning without a lot of structure for a while so he's really helped me go back and fine-tune my understanding of some of the more tricky elements of Spanish grammar. He also does a good deal of conversation work, which is the hardest thing to practice imo.

I had my IELTS preparation studies at ESL, TOEFL, IELTS &Writing services over 8 years ago. I would recommend Lusine as a hard worker, enthusiastic, very responsible and caring teacher with profound knowledge of English.

If you want your child to make the fastest possible progress in the shortest time and have a chance at going to a top college, then carefully read every word of my review below... Before Debra, my child liked reading easier books and had a hard time writing the daily literature journal entries assigned by the teacher at school. But then I was so glad to find someone as highly qualified and experienced as Debra was available for tutoring. I was worried about meeting exclusively over Skype, but Debra was able to fully engage and motivate my child so that my child actually wanted to read challenging texts and improve on writing! My child has improved so much and has exceeded the school teacher's expectations! Debra is a fun, genuine person and clearly enjoys working with middle school and high school children. She always goes the extra mile to hand pick essays for my child to read, and her love of literature and writing is infectious. She gives advice on essays for school and any kind of project, really. I highly recommend tutoring with Debra. You'll see the results!

I was failing. Period! I was at a loss on how to pass Economics. I was assigned Mr. Ramiro and we sat and he went over the syllabus, and he talked and questioned me a lot! The next meeting he had assignments for me, While I did them he would review my notes and give me additional homework. But he would give me practice exams. I was taking 12 hours plus tutoring and the homework was crazy. But Mr. Mata drilled me and explained everything at my level and not at the doctorate level so well I went from an "F" to a final grade of a "C". If I would have had him before midterms, I may have gotten a "B" or an "A"! And he is a tutor for other courses in which I will request his services! Paul D. I have taken three theatre classes with Melba Martinez as the instructor. My work with Melba has been inspiring and transformative. She is deeply intuitive and insightful and knows how to bring out the best in each student. I can see the results of all the practices I have learned in her classes in my professional and personal life. Many areas of my life are moving forward in positive ways because I now have more presence, confidence and vitality. I credit Melba with most of these improvements.

My experience of Jake’s teaching skills is based on his time as teaching assistant in Austria. He taught my class for one hour per week for a year. I always looked forward to his lessons, because they were interesting, well-structured and never boring. Jake’s teaching methods are quite flexible so he was able to adapt to every student as individually as possible without neglecting the others. The covered topics were informative, varying and had a personal touch. He constantly managed to engage us in discussions, even though we were a lazy bunch and a lot of others had failed before. I, personally, learned a lot more than just vocabs and grammar. It was really great having him as a teacher and I would have loved to have him for a longer time.

Kelsey is amazing! I'm a nurse and needed help communicating with my patients. She went above and beyond helping me learn Spanish, she was extremely patient with me and was very encouraging. I loved having her as my tutor, I looked forward to our meetings unlike my 8th grade Spanish class.

Mrs. Libersat and I are colleagues in education for many years. She is a resource for me and her students, who show unmistakable and significant growth, are fortunate. She is a consistent leader in her field, creative in identifying accommodations or innovations to meet the needs of her students. She served as a generous mentor for many peers using her deep and extensive knowledge of educational methods and language acquisition to assist others in their learning journey and too guide them to attain their goals for professional improvement. The students in her classes are engaged by her energy and creative approach. She practices a wide range of strategies in grouping, learning styles, cultural examination, technology integration, and student-driven activities. Her lessons show astute understanding of what is relevant to students. Her projects and activities pull in the students and the observer. Because I trust, and have witnessed her professionalism and eagerness to find ways to best connect with students and tap into their interests, I have often and will continue to consult her for resources, ideas and inspiration as an educator and stakeholder in the educational community.

My 3 friends and I found Diana’s teaching style to be fun and relaxed but very effective. We let her know in advance that we were more interested in developing our listening and conversational Spanish than having school-like classes following a textbook, and she was perfect for this. She brought in music from her native Ecuador, Spanish videos, and other fun material that meant that the lessons flew by. She encouraged us to speak in Spanish at all times, which really helped us to develop our vocabulary and expression as we asked questions in Spanish and attempted to explain ourselves. Overall, the classes were great fun, very interactive, and productive in terms of improving our spoken Spanish. We would all absolutely recommend her!

I was impressed with Yen's positive attitude and also his confidence in me that I could actually do well with the college math class that I took last semester. He explained the work so that I understood better what I had not in the classroom. Having Yen tutor me was definitely a positive experience for me and I know that I couldn't have completed the course without his expertise in math.

Cory is a great instructor. He is knowledgeable and very flexible. He customized my class to accommodate my busy schedule. He also designed a class that focuses not on every day communication more than academic performance which is what I wanted. He is also fun and reliable.
