I have retained Scott's services since May 2014 to represent me for child support adjustment proceedings. Even though my case is not complete yet, I feel confident to recommend his services to potential clients. He is thorough, meticulous and diligent. As a professional, what has impressed me the most is Scott's passion about what he does and how he makes me feel like that I am his "only client" and not just a number. Although I can be a very demanding client, Scott has taken the time and has shown tremendous patience to accommodate me.
Soon after I sought his counsel, Scott discovered quickly that my divorce decree was incomplete missing numerous pages which he tended to right away with minimal cost to me.
even though my case is not finalized yet and regardless of the outcome, I still strongly recommend Scott due to his caring nature and having one of the most competitive fee structures.

Scott was the only person to not only answer his phone will I first called (after searching online), but also talked with me for well over 30 mins during that first phone call. We then scheduled an appointment at his office where he informed me about the whole process, fully disclosed things I was up against, things he thought he could help me "win", etc. I really enjoyed his directness and full disclosure way, I prefer that especially when its about law stuff that quite frankly I knew nothing about. I had to go back and forth for several months with my ex to agree on terms and Scott was there to entire time guiding me on the pros and cons of every decision I had to make. He was patient, what I thought would take 1 month took around 4 or 5. But once I had my ex agreed to all my modifications, Scott and his team was able to get the order written in a matter of days and that next week we were in court getting the judge to sign everything. SOOO happy this is behind me and I had Scott to guide me along the way. As much as I loved working with him, I hope to never have to use him or another attorney again; but if I do-I'm calling Scott. :)

Going through a divorce is a devastating and draining affair, especially if you are an unwilling participant.
Not only will you have to deal with emotional and financial upheavals as your life gets turned upside down, but you must also navigate the legal process. Because of this, it is important to have a lawyer that is experienced and knowledgeable of the proceedings. One that can skillfully guide you and advocate on your behalf.
Scott Herlihy handled my divorce in an honorable and professional manner. Always protecting my interests at every step, and not seeking a confrontational or vindictive course of action for the sake of a court triumph.
He was always available and very prompt in his responses to my inquiries. Scott is very personable and empathic. During the times that I was emotionally unsettled, he brought an air of stability and calmness.
I hope you, the reader of this review, can save your marriage. But if you cannot, you will do well to have Scott on your side.

I've worked with Scott for many years professionally. Scott is thorough and has always recommended the most reasonable course in his legal representation and always with an eye toward saving the client money as opposed to generating fees. If the same end can be reached in half the time, in my experience, he has always chosen to be frugal with his hours.
I continue to refer potential clients to Scott when I cannot assist them.
