Doug helped my wife and I in selecting exterior colors for our 1920’s house. He put together several color story boards and was very patient through many indecisive moments. We will definitely give him a call again with some interior painting projects.

Doug did an incredible job repainting my kitchen. The job required him to match faux painting that already existed. I needed someone who could restore a Faux Tiger Oak Hutch that was badly damaged. The before after pictures of the top say it all!! There were several other damaged areas that had to be blended in. Matching the style took him some time and several samples to recreate the look since he was replicating a process that was done by a machine at least 100 years ago. We chose to work with the splits and filler holes so as not to alter the age of the piece. He was easy and a pleasure to work with.

I hired Doug to Paint my living ,dining and family room. I had picked out a color. When he saw it he said are you sure you want that? Then he painted a sample of it on my wall, I was shocked to say the least. It did not look good. I told him what I was looking for and then he just ran with it every room in home is now beautiful. His epertise faux painting is awesome. My son also hired him and was very pleased with Doug's work. we also recommended him to another friend who hired him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are competitive and determined by the amount of prep work involved, finish selection and whether or not a sealer coat is applied.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with a customer at the location work is to be performed. I bring photos of previous work that have been completed, along with over sized sample boards to help with color and texture choices. Once choices have been made, I make sample boards for your particular project and work from those sample boards to get the desired look agreed upon.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in Art History, Design and Architecture.
