What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Just understand, that this type of work is difficult and requires a lot of skill. You have to be knowledgeable in many different specialized areas and specialized tools. Compensation weighs heavily on what I can do for you. You're not just paying for my time. You're paying for a lifetime of skill and experience. Something that I use, to serve you with the best of my ability.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Describe your project in as much detail as possible. Send pics if you can. If you found something online you'd like to do, send me the link. We will discuss cost, timing, and scheduling. From there we will lock down the job. On some occasions I'll need to come by, meet you in person, talk about the project, take measurements and pics and reply back with a ball park figure on cost and time. But most of the time all that can be done over the phone. I try my best to come prepared, and anything I don't have I'll go get. Once the job is done to your satisfaction, we settle up and you're all set.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had extensive training in the trades. Welding, fabrication, mechanical, tool repair, home improvement, and paint. I've spent the last 25 years collecting skills and experience to best serve my clients.
