Daniel reached me within the first 3 minutes of my inquiry. While I would typically get a few more bids for a job like this (Prep & paint interior & exterior of a rental that is now listed for sale), his excellent customer service, enthusiasm & professionalism gave me the confidence to hire after only comparing to a previous bid. This trust was proven well deserved when I then witnessed the ongoing responsiveness, attention to detail & quality of work. Shout out to Daniel's crew, especially Rigo, who puts his whole heart into his work striving for perfection & leaving no detail unattended to, even when not included in the work originally described. While quality & trust are critical, I'd be remiss not to mention the great value. I received a much more complete job (whole house prep, repairs, paint & make ready) for over $1000 less than a competitor's estimate on just part of the job. To this extent, I could justify repainting everything... and they didn't ask for a dime until we were satisfied at completion... And we were! Highly recommended, go-to service for all future needs. Testerman's work was great and quick - 4 days from quote to done! They communicated with me throughout the job and there were no surprises. The paint looks great and they cleaned up wonderfully. Highly recommend

Update: Daniel reached out to me after the review to perform touch ups and address any issues we had. I am very happy with his professionalism and commitment to do a good job. I would highly recommend Daniel and his crew, and will hire them again. Orginial Review: We had our baseboards, doors, door frames, and our staircase railing all painted by Daniel and his crew. The work took about 4 days. The stairs look amazing, and the baseboards and doors look good as well, however we did have to inspect ourselves and give feedback to the crew throughout the process that some spots were missed or the paint was on the walls etc. On the last day there were 2 rooms that they had forgotten to paint the baseboards for, and we realized just as they were leaving our house. They did come back to paint those two rooms but the work was rushed, when we inspected the house later we saw that the baseboards paint was not as clean and was visible on the walls above the baseboards. Overall the work was good for the price and we are happy with the work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet and greet and estimate. A lot of clear communication and walk through a to be sure the customer is satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I (owner) was union trained at the carpentry training center on east Kellogg and worked as a carpenter with OTJ training. I constantly read wood working books and keep up on Texas state and Travis County safety and building codes. I have taken numerous OSHA classes and CPR classes. I am currently doing much OJT with a Master Carpenter who used to be a general contractor and is my business partner.
