We couldn't have been happier with Pearl Snap Cuisine as our wedding caterer. I'm starting with the most important thing to me, as the mother of the bride. They were the only vendor that I didn't have to check in with or ask questions. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would. They even offered encouragement and extra help on a couple of small things. The chefs and servers seamlessly performed their jobs without flaw, down to packaged up meals to send home after the wedding. Now on to the food! Not only was their food delicious, but they made the dinner experience part of the evening celebration. Their basic, affordable menu was as good, if not better, than that of a high quality restaurant. Then they had options that added so much to the wedding. The bride and groom chose an exotic fruit bar for the cocktail hour and it not only tasted wonderful, but had people gathered around talking about the fruits and taking photos. The infused water and chocolate s'more bar, which were part of the basic package, were delicious and fun. But by far, the best part of the experience was the "hot rocks" offering. Seasoned meat and vegetables cooked on hot rocks that had our guests hanging out at the buffet bar. Truly nothing typical about this wedding food! People are still talking about the food! If I could give 6 stars I would. Working with Leslie was so easy! Usually the breakfast/lunch part of our events is the most time consuming and stressful, but for the first time, I wasn't freaking out. She was incredibly prompt with quotes, answered all my questions (no matter how stupid), and thought of everything before I even asked. I'm always nervous about catering since I've had some horror stories with incredibly late caterers. Not them! They arrived an hour early, prepped, and we had an excellent breakfast. My office is notorious for being incredibly picky when it comes to food, and all I heard around the event was how amazing the food was and how friendly and fantastic the chefs were. This was a first for us! I'm afraid they're going to see a lot of us in the future, and I can honestly say that one of the reasons my event went so smoothly is due to Fabulous Affairs.
Laura Eliel made my experience super easy and terrific. I wanted an in-home dining experience. She and her assistant arrived about 5 pm. I asked how can I help. They said, You can't! Guests arrived at 6:30 p.m. and we began a luxurious meal that was delicious and lovely. And, at the end of the evening, the kitchen was clean and I did not lift a hand!
Robert did an outstanding job preparing our rehearsal dinner meal. He and his wife prepared enough to feed at least one hundred people and nothing ran out before everyone got through the line. The meal was delicious and right on time. He is an excellent chef, and you will not be disappointed with his catering.
Chef Bon has been making wonderful dishes for our family for about 12 months. My husband and I have 2 young boys. 1 of them has special dietary needs & the other is a picky eater. Chef Bon is hugely successful in finding healthy, fresh options to fit the needs of the whole family!! She comes to our house once a week to cook. Chef Bon is professional, on time, positive attitude, leaves the kitchen neat & clean, and she is great with kids.
Lyndie C. Catering took care of everything, going completely above and beyond our expectations! Our Rehearsal Dinner was able to reflect who we are as a couple thanks to her flexibility and attention to detail, and our guests raved about the cuisine Lyndie prepared!
Chef Daniele was absolutely WONDERFUL! We could not have asked for a better chef or setup. Our group was visiting Austin from out of town for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and staying at an AirBNB, so we thought it would be nice to stay in for an evening to visit. Chef Daniele was extremely accommodating in creating a menu that included dishes for vegetarian and vegan guests. He sent me the menu days in advance. Since we were unfamiliar with the pots/pans, knives, kitchen tools, and kitchen itself, Chef Daniele brought many of his own tools, which was extremely helpful to us. On the morning of the event, we unfortunately encountered an issue with the gas line. Chef Daniele offered at that point to cook on the grill outside (which was incredible!), even though he had already bought the ingredients for the inside meal. Thankfully, the gas line was fixed and he cooked the following delicious small plates for the group: spinach, garlic and basil fettuccine with wild mushrooms; Red-wine chicken with vegetable mirepoix; Milk-braised pork tenderloin; Sauteed lemon green beans. He even allowed one of our guests (who loves to cook) to assist in cooking! We were also grateful that Chef Daniele was okay with a little partying (maybe too much drinking) and dancing during the evening! :) Chef Daniele's punctuality (on time!); hospitality (accommodating, in tune with the guests likes/dislikes, cleaned up the kitchen for us and even washed some dishes that he did not use-very unnecessary!), personality (kind, calm, and happy!) and cooking (Florence-trained!) were all perfect. As a result, I have recommended him to friends that live in Austin, and I will continue to recommend him to anyone visiting the area for the weekend! Thank you to Chef Daniele for an all around fantastic evening!
Why would my opinion matter? I have a hotel/restaurant degree and I have hosted many parties both with and without catering so I believe that I have the "street cred" to give an informed opinion. My experiences with Savor Chef Services- Linda Stanton have been wonderful. Her food is so delicious, whether she prepares it at our home or cooks everything off-site and arrives with a variety of appetizers and/or entrees ready to serve my guests. She also cooks up wonderful desserts. For example, her cake balls are the best I've ever tasted. They're light, flavorful and pretty, resulting in a much better cake than those from bakeries specializing in cake balls. She knows what she is doing and gives great advice. She understands the social chemistry of parties. I want to throw another party just thinking about getting to eat her cuisine again.
I hired Chef Edna for a personal dinner for my family. She cooked us delicious food and gave us excellent personalized service. She is always going to be welcome in our kitchen and highly recommend her to any of my personal and business colleagues.
Michelle and Autumn did a wonderful job preparing a 9 course French style meal for my wife and I in our own home. The meal perfectly blended old world and new world French cuisine. We have a party coming up and would happily hire Michelle to cater.
I reached out to Jordan, asking him to cater a private dinner for my friends and I while we were in Austin for a bachelorette party. Jordan was amazing both during the preparation for the night and during the night of the dinner. He really did his homework beforehand to make sure he would be catering exactly to the needs of the event (pun intended). He had a unique menu that really showcased his talents as a chef but was also more than willing to adjust any items requested for particular tastes or preferences. On the night of the dinner, Jordan stayed on schedule and the food was phenomenal. He even made great margaritas! I highly recommend Jordan if you’re thinking of using a catering service for any occasion. He is very professional and really takes the client’s wants and needs into consideration. You can tell he has a great passion for the food he provides and he has a great personality to work with! I have recommended Jordan to a few of my friends who are also traveling to Austin for various events. You won’t be disappointed! I still dream of the fresh churros he made.

I've been in the food industry business since i was fifteen years old. So, fifteen years has gone by, and I'm still at it. Ever since then, I've been continuing (and will always continue) to pursue in this field. I have been working in all vast ranges of different kitchens, establishments, festivals and so forth. By doing so, I've gained a great deal of knowledge, respect and appreciation towards everything that has to do with this extraordinary realm --the realm of food; the realm of endless creativity! When it comes to what sort of food, recipes, region(s) or baked goods (artisan breads, sculpted cakes, wedding cakes and much more) that I make or could make, I have no limits of any sorts. I am very broad in my horizons with the reason being this is my being/passion: to be able to always enjoy doing something new and fresh. That's always intriguing. Chef On the Go is my catering side project that I'm invested in. Basically, I'll do catering events from anywhere between 250 a head or 15 a head. I do festivals and events as well. I had learned a lot from being the head chef/private chef for a sorority house from Monday through Friday. I prepare, cook, and make menus for over 25 girls for their lunch and dinner.
