Read reviews that mention:
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My estimates are thorough but simple. I consider the size, condition of the walls, repairs, and complexity of the space. Labor, supplies, and paint make up the cost. Typically I charge a $50 supply fee which I include in the estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional artist and muralist as well as a residential/commercial painter. I have several years experience in the museum world prepping and building galleries, which is where I began my interior painting training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first job out of art school was an Art Preparator at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. I soaked up a lot of knowledge about painting, prepping surfaces, and also operating a spray booth- painting mannequins and furniture.
