Introduction: **I have made the decision to pause mobile massage services indefinitely during the COVID-19 pandemic due to increased risk of exposure with massage & a pre-existing condition that could lead to complications should I contract the virus.** My name is Lance Pyburn and I offer mobile massage services through Brave New Love. While I recently received my massage license in 2019, I have more than 7 years of health and wellness experience previously working as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and training college students for a bike ride from Texas to Alaska. I work with all clients, but specialize in those dealing with stress & anxiety, endurance athletes, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I typically need about 1-3 hours notice to schedule due to potentially delayed response times while completing sessions.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? All new clients complete a health history and informed consent form prior to our first session. I typically like to have a quick 5-10 minute conversation with a new client either by phone or in person prior to the massage to identify goals, avoidance areas and other preferences in order to offer the best service possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I completed a 500 hour program from the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and Clinic based in Austin, TX.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I am happy to work with all clients, but my life experience has helped me to specialize in working with clients dealing with stress and anxiety, those who participate in endurance activities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I am committed to creating space for all folks to be able to live authentically meaning my sessions are completely safe and judgement free zones.
