Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm someone who doesn't have something to prove. If I'm doing something you don't understand, I have no problem telling you what it is and why I'm doing it. Many producers have something to prove, and will often belittle your intelligence to make themselves feel needed. I just want everyone to have a good time, and get results better than they imagined! My favorite part of being a producer is taking something from birth to maturity, and having my clients be thrilled with the results!

I met Aaron Glemboski/Redbeard when I first arrived in Austin. Being new to the music scene but already with an album recording on our minds, Aaron was a great person to talk to and brainstorm with. At first we weren't even sure how good of a sound engineer he actually was, but he was extremely helpful, fun to talk to and knowledgeable, so we just went for it. Aaron worked on recording and producing our album as though he were raising his own child, and by the end of the entire recording, mixing and mastering process, we now have an album that sounds amazing--thanks to Redbeard Productions! So it turns out he actually knows what he's doing! We continue to work with him to this day, and it's always fun and easy knowing we're in good hands.

I've been working with Aaron for about 5 months now on my debut EP. I couldn't be more stoked with the art we've created so far. I would recommend him 100% to any musician looking to further their sound or ideas. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about the music,as well as you as an artist, then Aaron is your guy. The whole process has been smooth and the outcomes are worth every penny that you will pay!

Aaron Glemboski is absolutely fantastic. I read a book titled "Quintessential Cool People to Make Your Music Sound Awesome" and Aaron Glemboski was the only name listed in it. Ever since then, I knew he was right for my project. In all seriousness, I found out about him from Thumbtack! I called a few people, and they either were not very friendly and obviously didn't love their job anymore or they seemed too old-fashioned in their ways. I can't deal with not friendly for obvious reasons, and I can't do old-fashioned because, well, my music is electronic. Which is anything BUT old fashioned! I saw Aaron's website, and I thought, 'Goodness me, there's no way that I'll be able to afford this man's work. His website is so ridiculously cool and professional looking!'. I called him anyways. He was SO easy to talk to, and he had a sense of humor while still keeping me on-topic (which is difficult). I then asked of his price, and it was very reasonable! THAT is when I really knew he was the right guy for the job. At first, my project was going to be folk. Which was perfect because he does a lot of folk/alternative rock stuff. I then switched my album to be electronic, and I won't lie. I totally wondered "Can Aaron do this? This isn't exactly his specialty." Well he proved me DEAD wrong, because everything has come out spectacularly. If you are folk, he's perfect for you. If you are rock, he's perfect for you. Rap? Perfect. Classical? Perfect. Alternative Punk Polka Electronic with Carribean influence? He's perfect for you. Another thing, is my voice is extremely dynamic. It's just really difficult to record. Of course, Aaron has no problem with it. He's always on time. He emails back very quickly, and works in a speedy manner. He always genuinely cares about your music, and if you like the mix or not. He knows a ton of musicians that are ready to do studio work for you, and has many other resources to share with you. He gives great advice when you want it, and doesn't when you don't want it. But you should always want his advice because he knows what he's talking about. Also he's funny, and just a great person. Pretty much the coolest person ever. Seriously, just stop what you're doing and call him. Or email him if you have social anxiety issues.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common jobs I get are singer/songwriters who want their songs fleshed out and recorded. I write parts for all the instruments they need and give them a great full sound.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet up with the Producer or engineer you're thinking about hiring. Chemistry and being comfortable goes an extremely long way in getting great takes faster and having a good time throughout the whole process.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It takes the right personality, the right ear, and the right gear. Don't just turn your songs over to anyone with a microphone.
