Rowena is a great chef her personality very welcoming she makes you feel like your her family her food is delicious, delightful, exquisite i used her for a dinner party that i had for about 50 people. I highly recommend Chef Rowena. I found her through Thumback. Chef Rowena is responsive, easy to work with. I had to find a caterer for a brunch for a group of 17 in less than 10 days before the event. I found so fortunate to have Chef Rowena. I told her our budget and she created a perfect menu with a Texas touch. On the day of the event, she arrived early, and set up everything beautifully. Her brunch was so good that many of the guests who came from the east coast told me that this was the best Texas brunch they ever had. Chef Rowena was present serving the guests with her green chef union form on. She made our party such a success so I am very grateful to her. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Very Reasonable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I First determine what type of cuisine and what type of event they are planing, whether family comfort food affair or for plated and serve 5 Star dining experience. Following that there is a menu consultation with the customer to learn their likes and dislikes. I then take their desire and ideas and develop a menu for them,or cook their specific request.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?After majoring in marketing at the University of the East (manila) and immigrating to the U.S., I quickly realized I must do what i love, Food. I then completed a 2 year program at the Culinary School of Fort Worth and a course in French Bread and Pastry at Paris Le Cordon Bleu. I have worked for some very accomplished chefs and caterers well over a decade.
