FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First session is free! Following the initial complimentary session, pricing is for (1) hour session and discounts are offered for packages of 6, 12, and 18 sessions. When considering pricing, know that personal training extends far past the in gym session. If you’re looking for a good workout, you can find that with about any competent trainer. Real progress is made when the other 23 hours of the day are taken into account. For me, this means a direct line of contact for questions and support, scripted training for non training days (cardio, recovery, traveling) nutrition counseling (meal planning, grocery lists, macro breakdown) and access to my online platform. My goal is to see you reach your goals and I give every available tool to make that possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start with some basic questions either over the phone or through email to give me a little background on the client and their needs. This gives me a better idea on how to facilitate their free consultation once we schedule. This complementary session will consist of a movement assessment and a few other screening tools to help build your program. Not only will they get a great workout but also a full understanding of how the program works and what they can expect from the experience. I always leave them with some great takeaways dealing with fitness and nutrition to start implementing immediately even if they don't choose to continue with training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For nearly a decade, I've had the opportunity to deliver programs and services to members at my own training studio, Northwest Fitness, corporate gyms, private studios, therapy clinics, and the online community. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have also held numerous nationally accredited training certifications and specializations throughout my career. Most notably through NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer/Corrective Exercise Specialist and StrongFirst as a certified kettlebell instructor. My experience working alongside many influential mentors, coaches, educators, and organizations has been paramount to my success as a business owner and instructor.
