I am a man for others who chose photography as my way of providing value. I have provided photography services in Austin since 1994. As a consumer, you may be wondering how to select a photographer. There are a number of factors to consider beyond price and availability.

For family or individual portraits, Austin, Texas offers many beautiful outdoor settings in which we can create superb photographs. Would you be more comfortable in an outdoor setting rather than a studio, office or home setting? I create photographs in all of these settings. On a nice day, for family portraits to obtain a comfortable and natural look is created when they are seated in a grouping on the grass or a blanket.
Listen to the way they describe their approach to the upcoming assignment. Are they listening and repeating back to you what you stated? Do they have the experience to produce the product you envision? Was the answer backed up with images that show the particular look you want? Do their photos accurately speak for themselves?
I tend to communicate with the people I photograph while creating their images. It's my way to get a glimpse into their inner self. As a portrait and event Photographer, I create slices of recorded history. In a fraction of a second, with intention and good timing - meaningful moments are captured. I enjoy working with people in both their work life and lifestyle settings. I look for the best angle, lens focal length, available light, and exposure to capture their essence. I believe that every individual has a great, natural look. My challenge is to approach the photography session in such a way that each individual's best look is presented to me as I actuate the shutter release.
