Introduction: Hello Future Piano Student,
My name is Kay and I am an assistant professor of music composition at the Fred Fox School of Music at the University of Arizona. I have played piano for 29 years and have 12 years of experience teaching piano to all age groups, from three year old children to 65 year old adults. With so many years of experience, I has developed a very active and creative teaching style. My piano lessons are fun, creative, efficient, and full of energy. I devotes time to know my students and tailors lessons to each individual because I believes each person has a different personality, and different way of perceiving and absorbing knowledge.
Because of COVID, the structure and means of education completely changed. I have spent countless hours to find the best way to provide remote piano lessons that could bring out the same or even better leaning outcome than in person lessons. I have received so many positive feedbacks of my new and exciting remote piano lessons.
While piano takes practice and dedication, I am confident we can develop a study plan to help you achieve your piano playing goals. To get a sense of what you wish to achieve, as well as to become acquainted with one another, I offer a free 30 minute introductory lesson.
