Cómo se dice is a FANTASTIC choice for students at any level wanting to hone their Spanish-speaking and writing skills. Luz is a terrific instructor. She is patient, and uses a wide variety of very effective teaching methods. I have been taking 1:1 classes once per week for a month now, and couldn’t be happier! Won’t be stopping anytime soon. No matter what your skill level, or goals are, you cannot go wrong with Cómo de dice!

I have done 3 sessions so far. Love how far I've come. Learned Spanish on my own for 6 months before. Teaches me a great deal of knowledge im 30 mins. Probably will switch to 1 hour lessons eventually. Will refer to friends and family.

Luz is a wonderful teacher. She adapts to the needs of her students. She is patient. Her teaching method is very effective for me. I had learned some Spanish a while ago and need to rebuild my skills for an upcoming project in Mexico. She has helped me get back up to speed as well as teach me new concepts. Sometimes my granddaughter will sit in on the lesson and she and luz interact to give my granddaughter an appreciation for a new language. I also like that luz offers group discussions with other Spanish learners so that we can practice speaking. Luz has various groups depending on your skill level.

Luz is an amazing Spanish teacher! Based on my starting level and specific goals, she was able to give lessons that quickly improved my conversational skills. The classes have been very helpful, concentrating on the areas that needed most improvement. How did you get started doing this type of work?
My passion is teaching and teaching Spanish, my native language, is the best thing I have done in my professional life. Since a little girl I used to study for my exams, pretending being a teacher to my dolls. So after graduating as an accountant I came back to the school to get a teacher’s certificate for a second language in 2010 and since then I have enjoyed my profession.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I really love a group that I have had for more than two years. It’s a group of three students. The amazing thing about this group is the enthusiasm they have for the class. Their age range goes from 74 to 96 years old
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you want to learn Spanish the two best things to consider are: an experienced and a native Spanish speaker teacher
