Warning: The Handyman Keith LLC , Aka Keith Mallow, is not as handy as his business name portrays being. After hiring him to do a job at our home back in August, he never showed up ontime, never had the supplies to do the job each day, was dishonest, and what he promised to be completed day one was never done when he left us with his mess of tools, dust,dirt and debris in our home on day 4, and for over three weeks. On day 5, He called off sick with a "stomach bug" for more than a week, while he took to Twitter to tell about his game attendance at a UT game when he should've been cleaning up the mess he left in our home and finishing the job we paid him to do. After taking the issue to Travis County Precinct 3 small claims court, the judge decided in our favor and placed a judgement against him,however he has failed to pay us the close to $1400 he still owes us. Keith Mallow is unlicensed and has shown no intention of paying back the money he owes us. Just a word of warning next time you seek a "handyman"

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions...I understand being in a hurry to hire someone to complete a repair, especially if you have started and unable to finish. I hear too often "I am so glad to have found you, I started to fix it and realized I was in over my head, then I hired this other guy...and he did not fix it, he never showed back up or returned my calls."
