About this pro
I am so glad I hired Inksnatcher to help me write my book. Knowing that she would be editing helped me so much; I didn't have to worry about getting the perfect words or organization, I could just concentrate on content and leave it to her to organize it and refine it so that it flowed and would b easy for the reader. We had a great flow to our work which kept the project moving. I wholeheartedly recommend Inksnatcher!Jun 19, 2018Verified
She is one awesome lady. She helped produce my 1st book and took it to a new level of excellence. She went over and beyond what I expected, and then some. We had kinks to work out in the beginning and it taught me a lot! Thank you for being a part of bringing to fruition, my dream, my gift, from God! My book " Words from My Father" is a joy to present to the world! The next one will be easier! Thank you again. I wish God's blessings on your life!Jun 17, 2016VerifiedSally H.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $40/hour or $0.14 - $0.02/word, depending on the level of editing that's needed. It usually works out best for the client to pay the hourly fee, which usually comes in a little under, because I can do all the editing in one go rather than recharge for each level. If it takes longer than expected, I let the client know early into it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I look at the manuscript to make sure it's a finished work and assess how many hours of editing it will take to get it shipshape. I will sometimes edit a page to make sure the author likes my work, and then I get to work in Word. I use the "tracked changes" method to go through it once on my laptop, and then I print the manuscript out to go over it again. I find that I catch a lot more errors that way,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I always make sure I have the latest online and print editions of my editing manuals. Rules change over time. I'm also a member of an online editing group, where we discuss changes frequently.
