Cannon Plumbing was extremely unprofessional. Two appointments were missed (April 21 & April 22) and promises were made to call me back and get me rescheduled but no follow through (it's been several weeks and I have not heard from anyone). Prior to them missing the first appointment they kept messaging me through the thumbtack system hours before they were to visit my house because they claimed they had no contact information for me even after I had already booked the appointment a week in advance. I had to call them to reply 30 minutes before my first with them appointment because they were supposed to my house after work and I hadn't been able to focus on personal emails. The second appointment that was made for the very next morning first arrival was missed. They promised to keep in contact with me during that day for a new eta which was not done. During the phone call that I initiated after missing the second appointment they asked for my personal email address to send me a quote and I realized after I think they are supppsed to go through the thumbtack system to quote me as that is how they pay the company for my referral. So I am also under the impression that perhaps they were trying to go around but I'm not 100% sure if that is the truth of the matter. As of May 11th I've still not heard from the company.

Connley came out to fix my kitchen sink today, only one day after I put in a request for service through the Thumbtack app. Super fast response! I have had a clogged sink for about a week now, and haven't been able to do any dishes since the issue started because water kept backing up. I tried using a plunger, poured boiling water, and I used a 15 foot snake to see if I could get the issue fixed myself, but that was no help whatsoever. Connley had it fixed in no time at all. He had a 100 foot snake, which proved to be necessary for my kitchen pipes. Cool thing about this experience is the fact that he explained everything he did, gave expert advice, and even showed me step by step what he did and told me how to avoid future issues like this. I'm going to recommend Cannon Plumbing to all of my friends in Austin. Great price, great service, and also insured and registered. Thanks bud!!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We give fair pricing, we only give a price once we see the problem so we can be fair to the customer and don’t just guess, we have discount pricing for senior citizens, military and law enforcement active and inactive, we always try to work with the customers budget, we don’t price gouge, we are upfront and honest and don’t require payment until the job is complete and the customer is satisfied
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up a time, arrive at the customers home for a free estimate and evaluation of the problem and then we give them options on what we can do to fix the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are able to operate heavy equipment, excavate any area, pour concrete, landscape and trouble shoot any mechanical appliance using computers and new technology.
