Wonderful results!
I have a long list of repairs needed, now I found someone that I can rehire!
Silvestre is here with baseboards and quarter round due to a laundry overfill, (a 19 yr old part wore-out). my flood occurred the Saturday before the Houston Flood (4-18-2016) and I was in panic for a true carpenter -- to beat the rush. my house does not have a single right angle corner ( old homes in a MUD just don't get fine details) so, all the sheetrock is wacky and Silvestre did an impressive job with getting the corners to look "right".
I put out the request on a Thursday, and Silvestre was available for the next day; beautiful work was completed before 5 on Friday.
The flood restoration co that is "asthma friendly" and wears yellow and black (local Webster office) was a nightmare! and then, the washer part was not "defective".
The baseboards from Brothers Construction Co were simple and stress-free, just how business should be.
Silvestre Chavez is amazing, I wish I found him when we bought our home in 1992. I have hired so many people for almost every kind of job and I don't recall the last time I was this happy with quality workmanship. a few years ago I got a really poor exterior paint job, I so truly WISH I had known Silvestre. I have previously had two different BIG NAME companies install tile, and unhappy with both finished rooms... that I get to live with ... (one the salesman did not discuss lay-out pattern-down a long hallway; and, the second one had half of the order with (Mohawk) cosmetic flaws,(master closets were empty) as well as did not dry fit for approval on room center... so they pulled up wet tile ... and I also wish the majority of their cosmetic tile issue was all in the closets. I have learned so much.
My new breakfast and laundry baseboards look great! and if we do not relocate in the next 24 months... and do get to stay.... guess who get my kitchen floor and cabinet work...
