She takes her time training my dog! I enjoy it!
Lee is very energetic and patient both with the Dogs and with us people!! She is very thorough and observes our dogs behaviours while training and tailors the training to our specific needs.
We took our fur baby, JJ, to Barks for the 3 week board & train program for basic/general obedience and we have been AMAZED at the difference the in house training has made. When JJ came home he was so very obedient that we were all shocked. What a little pleasure it is to have a puppy that looks to you as his leader instead of the other way around. Now to get the other 3 pups in for this training! LOL If you have been looking for proper training for your fur baby, look no further......you are on the right site!
Nick is a true professional in every way. He showed up on time and followed through on everything promised. My 2.5 year old Boxer/Pit mix went from wanting to kill, destroy and eat Nick, then to the opposite extreme, trying to lick off Nick's face after a day or two of training. I highly recommend Mayday dog training. My Bella is now a more secure and well-behaved family member, a joy to have around.
My first time with K9, they took care of my two cats. Great job, need just a couple of minor tweaks for next time that I forgot to include in instructions. Will use again!
I work with a rescue dog that has had a bite case filed against him and was given Amy's name as one that can work with this type of behavior. She came out yesterday to see him and the other dogs in my home - training all of them together. She quickly identified the one dog as Fearful/Aggressive and Protective/Aggressive and then showed me how the behavior manifests, how to bring it out, how to address it. It was a fantastic session working with my group as a pack but still addressing each dog's needs. She will come back in a few weeks and see how well I have done continuing the work and working on a few more items. This was incredibly valuable and I look forward to gaining continued insight while working with Amy.
I had a doberman, Rose, that was a challenge to walk. She did not go out for walks. I found Come and Train It K9 and now Rose and I go for walks! John and Courtney really understood Rose and gave us the tools we needed to be successful. The team is extremely professional and genuinely wanted to make sure we were successful. I learned about my own shortcomings when it came to my with and toward Rose. I very much recommend Come and Train It K9 to anyone who has a dog with challenges. Rose can go out for walks now.....life is much better for her! Thank you John and team!
Barbara is extremely knowledgeable about animal training. I am very satisfied with how my dog has progressed in just a couple of lessons. I love how she uses positive reinforcement to create a fun learning environment for both my pet and myself.
Got my dog started on walking and avoiding some distractions. I was very pleased. Explained every part of the training and why.
She is awesome with my dog Champ so far. I've only been a couple times, but she loves my dog and my dog loves her just as much. I'm very excited to see how it all turns out and I have much hope. I'll post an updated review once we've gone through more training and I can see a drastic improvement. Already in the past week he's improved
Mike and Missy are phenomenal. I left my 9 month old German shepherd with them for about 3-4 hours, and in that time alone, he had already progressed with Bishop by him not barking vigorously, pulling on the leash, or misbehaving. The reason I brought Bishop to train is because he was getting older, bigger, & stronger. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control him. But Mike works with us both. He examines the relationship between the both of me & Bishop to better train Bishop for me. They also have land for bishop to roam, & I live in an apartment in Houston, so Bishop does not get to do that often! Mike invited me to come visit whenever I could so he could also teach me how to handle Bishop. He's doing basic training right now, but I already know I'll be bringing Bishop back for further training. What I really like about Prairie Kennles is that I'm getting my money's worth. I promise you will not be disappointed with their work.
I haven't had the training yet, but just speaking with Joey on the phone made me feel comfortable with her and confident in the quality we will receive.
We are so very pleased with the obedience training that was taught to our border collie Drake. He's only 4 months old and will follow all commands. This made a huge difference in his behavior compared to how he behaved before the training. I would definitely recommend Green Dog Training to anyone that is searching for help with their dog. I called several and chose them over the others because they use "positive reinforcement" training, which is what I was looking for. No choke collars or shock collars used here. Thanks Kelly for all that you did for our Drake. :)
I am awestruck by the way Pilla obtains and maintains the attention of my teenage great dane, Zeus. Zeus is an 11 month old that we just brought to our home in Dec. He is a well balanced and curious dane who has the tendency to jump and nip when excited. He generally shows this behavior towards myself and not towards my husband or children. I have never formally trained a dog and so in the past weeks Zeus has taken that opportunity to become a real rascal. Pilla enforces positive training techniques and cues that Zeus responds to well. She is not only training Zeus but myself as well. She has a structured course of techniques that she is glad to personalize to suit the needs of you and your pet. She is always on time, always explains the reasoning behind the specific technique and is genuinely passionate about training. I recommend her to any and all types training. I highly support her choice in natural, grain free treats. Zeus is showing improvement and I am gaining a great level of respect in the theory behind her positive enforcing techniques.
Sarah is absolutely amazing! Where do I begin? As soon as you start speaking with Sarah you can immediately tell how much her profession means to her. It is clear that she is in it for the dogs and it’s obvious that she is doing exactly what she was meant to do. She will take the time to explain to you the reasons behind doing things which helps to give you a better understanding of the training and your dog. If you are looking for a dog trainer, I highly recommend Sarah!
I've had the pleasure of working with Dallas to help train my puppy in the past. She always came prepared, and tailored each session to the specific needs for myself and my furry friend. She set manageable expectations, was punctual and consistent. I love that her approach is one based on reward to help with training. It is very clear that she loves what she does, as it showed through her communication, patience and connection with myself and my dog.
She was very patient with my pup. He is extremely overly excited Great Dane. Just in one training session, she has been able to get him to listen to a few commands. I am looking for for future train patients with her.
Terry, the dog trainer, has been a great dog trainer. I have tried out many in and around the area where I live, and have never had any success. This time I am seeing successes that I never thought possible. My dog is making great strides. Yes, she has a long way to go, and so do I, but with Terry's help, I believe we are achieving that goal well. Terry is very professional, yet very down to earth, and will talk to you about what he wants you to do. He models everything for you, then he gives you the leash and lets you do the work with your dog. He offers good information and helps you to correct the areas in which you might be doing something wrong. He also seems to do so until he sees you are getting it right. He explains well, and he doesn't just say ok, now you do it. He observes closely and helps you. His work quality is tip top, and he is very responsive to the dog's needs as well as any needs the owner has in working with the dog. He knows what he is doing, and he knows how to teach people . Terry is rarely ever late, but if for some reason, he is going to be a few minutes late, he always calls me to let me know this. Value can mean one of two things to me. I always think of it in a monetary way first, and as far as the money that I have spent and am spending, I believe these lessons are a great price for the money. I think they are worth every penny I have put out for them. I think about not only being worth the money for the lessons, but when I think about it, this man drives all over the place, and the price is worth it for the 35 - 40 mi drive he makes to come help and teach me to teach my dog. I realize too, that he has expenses, and he has to pay for gasoline, so the monetary price I pay is definitely worth it. I really cannot express what kind of value Terry and the lessons exhibit on a teaching and content level. I think this is the most valuable thing I have learned in a long time. I cannot measure the value that the lessons have for my dog and me. I believe she feels like she has more structure, and I am feeling positive and excited , because I am learning to be her leader instead of the other way around. I am also feeling more respected by her. I am so happy that I found Always Faithful Dog Training and that I have Terry to help me and show me how to handle my dog !
