Introduction: Awfully Pretty Photography has been serving the Houston area since 2010. With a history of photography courses behind her and experience with the fashion circuit, she has handled babies of every sort (though she prefers the ones in diapers). There is something inherit in her photos.
A dynamic angle that she usually dismisses and downplays that anyone could have taken that shot. ThatÂs hardly the truth and all her clients notice. Her photography arenÂt throwaways but they are museum quality.
AWFULLY PRETTY is as much about collaborations as it is about creativity. There is a reason you hire a photographer. You do not want the lackluster service of a franchise studio. Photography should not be thrown among other departments like automobile repair or intimates. In this age, photography (from portraits - to - family) should be a celebrity service and that is what I represent.

Dessa was a pleasure to work with- very relaxed! She offered lots of ideas and poses when I was feeling stumped, and turned out some great photos!

Dessa did my baby's 1 year old shots and she was great! I really thought I wouldn't get any good pics because I can't ever get my daughter to smile for the camera. But she worked some magic and got some amazing shots!

I just want to take a minute to talk about my experience with Awfully Pretty Photography. I wanted a photo session for my large family (10 people including ages infant to 60 years old!). We really had no direction on what we wanted the photos to look like. Dessa was so patient and offered such great suggestions! During the session, we all felt so comfortable and it was actually fun! When we got the images back, there were so many great ones to choose from. We ended up getting the cd, it was too difficult to chose.
I will be using Awfully Pretty Photography again in the future!

I have to say I could not choose anyone but Awefully Pretty Photography! There are hobbiest, then there are professionals. The quality of her photos go above and beyond.
I used APP for action and stills for my band. Oportunity for those great hits happen very quickly.
Dessa Parkers experience shows in the
quick judgement calls she makes in moment by moment chance shots. Amazing shots!
No hesitation here, I will get my next event on her calendar in a hurry!
