- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $25.00 an hour for work with individuals and small businesses. I charge $35.00 an hour for large established concerns that need my time to make a deadline or fill in. I charge more for them because that is more in line with the going rated for industry snd because there is more pressure to produce in a timely and professional way. In some cases the customer may want to pay a set price for the project and that is negotiable. In some cases the customer will want to provide a percentage of proceeds gained from a new product. That, too, is negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? No process. Find out what they need and provide it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Drafting technology, Design Technology and OJT with very varied experiences.
